Picked the peaches

We picked the peaches today, a good year on our single peach tree.  Its a Frost Peach.  Theresa got most of them today, I cleaned it up this evening.  We got 30 lbs total.  There were a few that had molded on the tree, and there were a few that had split on the top and allowed earwigs to get in.  I should plant some more peach trees if they are going to do this well here.  This tree suffers from leaf curl disease in the spring, but beats it by summer.  Seems like we had a heavy crop 3 years ago, and now again this year.

Max brought over his new quadcopter yesterday and we have some photos and video of our farm.

Nuts

First year for any filberts on the small new trees - planted 2009 I think.

And also first year to see any chestnuts on the 2009 trees.  Don't know who those bugs are but they are welcome so far.

These beautful insects were all over the hops, they don't look like they are eating them, they look more like predators, but I really have no idea.
